Re: PR Server Priming Super Sticky™
You might want to make sure that all of your fans are working correctly. Most systems shut down like that for heat related issues. The only other thing I can think of is connectors not being right or voltages dropping below operating specs. That can usually be tested by taking out the PSU and going to a local repair shop and have them test the PSU. If you are good friends with the techs they will usually test something like that for free.

Re: PR Server Priming Super Sticky™
Cooling is not the issue now, i run speedfan to monitor temps and voltages. I understand the temp part of it and can increase fan speed when i need more cooling. Also, the last time i had a similar problem, i changed out my ram and that seemed to rectify the proplem. Im now thinking its the PSU, and i have a spare one that my wife is going to install for me today while im working. Hopefully that is it. This machine is getting old, and its been really used. It was the Family computer back in 2006 and ran a full 18 hours a day for a long time. If the PSU is not the issue, i regret to say, i will not be gaming for months, i simply cannot afford a new machine at this time nor do i see being able to in the near future. And when i do return, i will be under a new BF2 account as i have long forgotten my PW and the e-mail account i used to register at EA is no longer in existance. Keep your fingers crossed!

Re: PR Server Priming Super Sticky™
just beg your friends or visit the local recycling/dump area you'll be able to scavenge the bits for free since you don't have a top of the line computer to start with you will not be complaining.
I kept one of my previous computers running doing that.Last edited by Saltspring; 05-30-10 at 07:30 PM.
