Holy cow...i always thought i was a pain in the ass more than a teamplayer. I can tell you all your comments moved me, but i have to stick with my decision for a while. The gaming piece was getting close to addiction and I can't afford to lose what's most important in life as you all can imagine. I can say this...if you read through the comments it's the players i hate leaving behind the most and not the game...great personalities and a ton of folks always willing to lend a hand. I do promise to stay in touch through the forums - but if i tell myself i'm only going to play a few hours a week i will find myself right back where i was.

THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE - leaving is not easy but the one constant i can count on is you guys are all class acts (even you Xav )...and i hope that in time i can find myself dead at the end of someone's weapon on the battlefield.

AND DEPUTY ... Thanks for raising that beer for me, it's kept me going for 20 years strong and i'm looking forward to 20 more :9

You my friend need the FPS gaming equivalent of the genital cuff. Hell, in the very least, activate the admin settings on Windows and only allow yourself to play a few hours a week. It'll just turn off the computer when the time is up.

Just... don't fly with me when it's about to expire. I already have a hard enough time avoiding the ground as it is.

Roo - you are a great guy to play with, one of the reasons I started playing here. No one could possibly take your rants the wrong way, they are hilarious and taken in the spirit intended.

At this point, no I didn't see that, I'm laughing so hard I'm crying. You usually fix their wagons though.

I've only played capture the flag is Star Wars Battlefront II - great game by the way.

But - if you need a break, then take it. The fact that you are asking the question (about gaming, alcohol, gambling, M&M's) generally means the answer is yes.

Best wishes Roo. Good luck with whatever endeavor you use to fill the time up from gaming. If you get bored once in a while come back and play a round or 2. You made the right choice life has to come first but you will be sorely missed. Alittle tip for you always grab life by the horns but if you kick it in the balls it easier to hold on to.
