    its just the keyset not even the keyboard, it says keyboard sold separetaly...... :| :|

    Alright space fans, let's get the space RP kicked up a bit, shall we?

    First things first. We need a system in order to do this. I'm talking rules and numbers. Something set in stone so that we don't go from having Saturn V rockets to the Enterprise-E overnight. In effect, we need something like the Traveler system that Dragon proposed. It has a specific set of rules and values that everyone would have to adhere to. It has its own "ship generator" that would keep everything fair (in the sense that everyone would be developing space ships from the same set of numbers and values).

    Now, we don't necessarily need to go with the system Dragon proposed (Milton will probably object, given that the aforementioned ship generator uses spreadsheets). We could entertain others. Or, alternatively, we could do completely without and just set some general limitations (such as the level of technology, the scope of the playing field, weapon types, and so on), but in effect it would degenerate into nothing more than the greatest test of the honor system that anyone could possibly imagine.

    So, how would you like to go about this? Your thoughts, please.

    Boldly going... where?

    I could make rules for ships and mechs
    Mechs from mechassault could be used, and we could expand from there onto WH40k titans
    Ships could be a little harder, though I think I could try and balance it

    Nuke, do we still have the stickies and the files for the Ship Generator and system generator. Let me know and link them here or I'll reupload them if we've lost them in the upgrades. Those that haven't played with them should exparament a bit with it before making a decision. I've still yet to work the traveler system into an online game (one of these days) but I'm hoping to have it working by christmas.... maybe....

    [edit] my bad someone did some nice house cleaning and organizing all traveler info and stuff here:

    You could certainly give it a shot, although the magnitude of such a project, it would probably take several people in order for it to be finished in any reasonable amount of time.

    That, and we also need to decide just how advanced we want to be.
