The Open Mic

Oh how I love it. You guys know what I'm talking about?

If your squad leader or commander hit "B" or "V" right when the round was ending, most likely their mic is hot while the round finishes up and the next one loads. For 5-10 seconds, you get a little glimpse into their post round existence. A lot of the times its silence but you get the occasional gem. My personal favorites:

- XAV flipping the hell out
- Rico hosting open mic night
- mikhail singing ("open micccc, yah i got an open miiic"...or something to that effect)
- XAV flipping the hell out
- Bong hits

You guys heard anything interesting or am I alone in my fascination of the post-round open mic?

lol, we get that in BF2142 also.

The occasional flipping out to telling the dog to STFU..... whistling to the ending theme music, the T.V. going in the background, the wife and husband fight, bitching about what place they got...... the list could go on!

I always listen extra hard at the end for the post round existence.

Whenever my mic gets jammed open you can usually hear me singing to whatevers playing in the background =D
then next round when i have the same squad they make fun of my singing =(

I love the open mic. Mostly Xav and a few other of my clansmen flipping out. Its hilarious. And the mysterious coughing fits...hmmm...

Whoever is taking "bong hits" over the mic need to be banned.

Don't have to, it's up to the admin's discretion. How many people do you know who play video games that smoke tobacco out of a water pipe? You know and I know damn well, that there is no tobacco in there.

We banned CanadianPersian for it, what makes this guy any different?

First you say should be banned, then you say "up to the admin's discretion". Further, I remember us coming to the conclusion that drug talk and references via the mic are NOT bannable offenses unless the admin asks you to stop. Same thing with drug/porn sprays.

And if you give me the whole "an admin does NOT have to give a warning" reasoning..then why the hell did we have the discussion to begin with?
