Ok do i have deleted every thing bf2 from my PC i dl the newest patch and the Tampa rd thing is there any certain way or order i have to install the game and patches?

Last time i could never get it to work..

After all that is installed what else do i need for PR to run?

I don't know if the vanilla 1.5 patch is compatible with PR .85

If it is, all you need to do is download PR Core and Level .85 files. Install the Core first, then levels, REMEMBER to make sure that "Create a Desktop Icon" is checked!!!!!

1.5 is in beta, is it not? So there is not support for it in PR, and you wouldn't be able to play on the server.

Make sure your resolution is set above 800*600. Game will not load at that resolution.

Beyond all that, PR is much more graphics intensive. On VBF2, I average about 100-120fps. On PR I average about 60-70FPS. so if nothing else, it might very well be your video card or RAM. (I would suggest video card with 1gb memory(512mb is going to require more instancing so either your frame rate or game settings will suffer.) and at least 2gigs of RAM(at the very least) to play PR.

Make sure to have BF2 installed and patched to 1.41 BEFORE installing PR.

....and good fucking Christ I'd forgotten how goddamn long it takes to DL the damn files :/

But soon.. soon... I have a system that can play it now, so I'll be making some visits soon.

lol engineers focus more on demo now....wrench is an after thought.

can't repair tanks or pretty much anything.

I will say.. regardless if it's BF2 vanilla or PR.. the engineer should be able to bash people with the wrench.. just as the medic can kill with shock paddles
