Yup. The trick it switching seats fast. If you come in at the right angle switch/fire/switch you don't need to guide it. It becomes a seriously dangerous point and forget missile. I've done it with some success.

What I've seen him do is come in at an extreme angle essentially letting the G/S free fall. I've tried and crashed and burned but I'm willing to acknowledge that I'm not really practiced enough. On the other hand I have seen G/S's HOVER and or CIRCLE with only a pilot who uses the TV misslie like a sniper rifle to hit not only armor but also individual soldiers. Accuracy aside, the hover and circling spell at the very least MACRO to me, at the worst....a little third party assistance?

the TV missile has a very wide radius - you can hit the ground anywhere around an infantry and he's toast. It's good to use on a freshly-capped enemy silo where there are lots of them running around, and you can peg 2-3 at a time. and I can vouch for the solo-TV thing cause I use it frequently when I have no gunner

spanky i think half of that video was set up. Honestly, what pilot just just hovers or fly that low with an enemy gunship constantly trying to tv you or shoot you down period?

It was set up. If you go to the YouTube site for it the author says it was on a closed server with bots. She did it to show that it can be done to a friend who was asking about it. I know that the chances of you doing it with little or no risk of being shot down is low, but I have seen it done and I know for a fact it can be with out a hack. Because I have done it. 8)

It's a little matter of having a keyboard or joystick with macro capability to program this trick. However annoying and frustrating it is to be on the wrong side of one of these joystick buzz killers, it is an exploit that is, unfortunately, legitimate.

Not withstanding, is the fact that aim bots work with all weapons in the game (except the knife and mines of course).

I do not question the ability to perform these tactics, as it has obviously been demonstrated as possible. I do, however, question the accuracy that some pilots have demonstrated, given the difficulty of manually steering the missle, or the fire and forget aspect, which should make them even less reliable.

Personally, I would like to see a longer time period for switching, or have the missle go errant once it is no longer in manual control as originally intended by the game designers.

A gunship jockey that's wasting time and effort to missle shoot infantry, is quite obviously, not supporting his squad or team, instead, is only working for his own self interests and only reinforces the solo player mentality, and does nothing for team-play.

I called for an admin a few times that night with no success. I was commanding on Sidi and had troubles with a squad leader denying orders, putting up kick votes for me, among other things......ran his squad aimlessly into the enemy time after time making us loose a good portion of tickets.

I know this goes in the problem player stickie but it is consistent with the topic of this thread.
