wow no admins on a saturday night. we had a gunship pilot magically single flying gunships yet firing tv missles and single shotting armor. squads not following orders and on a couple of rounds commanders that weren't worth a crap. worst night I have ever had playing 2142. People were screaming for admins for over 2 hours!

Just wanted to point out that this is actually fairly easy to do if you know how to approach, and if you can actually use the TV missile.

that's how they do it in 12v12 ladders I think. While it'c probably not as effective and therefore a waste of the teams resources, it doesn't mean they are cheating.

you are telling me that 1 person can hover in a gunship, switch to the TV missle fire and track, then switch back to the pilot seat and not crash? mind you this person was only tracking the tv missle for 3-4 seconds to get to me but his gunship never lost elevation and just hovered.

Yeah, it's physically possible. I've seen it done before by people I know to be honest (and very skilled) players. It's not terribly teamplay oriented... They weren't intended to be single-seated. DICE tried to make it harder to do in 2142 than it was in BF2 choppers, but it still can be done.

I've certainly TVed as a single pilot, but afterwards barely being able to pull up from a crash starting the missile at ~250m.

And seriously, with all of those non-teamplayers, no one got screen shots? Admins cannot be on all of the time. They have real lives, need to sleep, aren't mouse-potatoes, etc. They NEED your help. If you help them identify the problems, more problem children are watched and get caught. Not to mention that xfire has a video capture function that is rather handy even if it takes up acres and acres of HD space for a few scant moments.
