Banning for leaving the Commander seat?

Supply crates and Vehicle Drops ARE MINE!!!!!! Mine to do what I want with....when I lend them to other players it is because I am in a generous mood. Sometimes I'll even try to drop one on your head.

Hehe....That reminds me...I commanded on Kubra last evening and got two snipers with one car. :9

We got our asses kicked,but that was totally worth it! Now to go for three....

My concern would be with the vigilance of the admins watching the game. I'm not saying anyone would intentionally do anything wrong, however, in my case, with all the Punkbuster kicks and high ping kicks I get, I'd be afraid that I'd be commanding, get kicked, rejoin 30 seconds/minute later and an admin wouldn't notice the kick but WOULD notice me in a different position. KICK/BAN. So, from that perspective, I can see where DoubleFISTIN is coming from.

Have trust in the admins. They aren't punk asses like on other servers you come across, I am sure they will notice if you were kicked anyways. They are observant and kick when they are positive they are in a position to do so.

Yea, and there's usually more than a few admins on which will discuss any situation at any given time in order to reach a general consensus on wether to kick/ban someone for a clear and obvious reason.

Even if you get banned or kicked doesn't it show up when Punkbuster kicks you ??
I think you should take the comander seat...... I was always timid about being in command but I (over a short period) have become Alot more comfortable commanding. I still am a Reluctant commander though.......... sometimes I feel a better commander would do better than me commanding. But if you don't step up your Team has a much better chance of Losing the longer there is no commander.

This is my first post but I have been a long time regular at TTP.

I totally agree with DoubleFistin, the rule would keep me from applying to be a commander.

First of all....Welcome to the other side of the server! Nice to see you here.

Second....Double could not be more wrong. You won't get banned for leaving during priming....people are starting to lose sight of the intent here. What will get you in trouble is the non-teamplay...such as leaving the CO spot so you can fly a jet. There are always multiple admins on,and like Xav said,it all gets discussed. It is the obvious stuff that will get punished...nothing else. Hell...if you feel you are a bigger benefit to the team by leaving the CO Chair...give the SL's a heads up that that is your intent and create a squad. It is only the most obvious asshattery that will get anyone in trouble.

Don't be intimidated by this. Don't let it keep you from stepping up to command.The fact that you have been playing on the server,with no problems,shows that you are a team-player....keep doing what you are doing and all will be well.
