Didn't I call that one? You guys want your fancy graphics and destructible junk, you're going to have to sacrifice on player count. The machines just can't handle it... look at everyone complaining about 2142 when we went to a 64 man player count... Complaints all around about instability and choppiness.

You can't have your cake and eat it too if you are supporting a mainstream game.

Only thing I need destructible is skulls and vehicles. More war, less art!!

I agree with you completely... It's what sold BC2 though so I would have thought they would have tried to bring as much of that junk as they could in here.

My bad on that one. The first post and the beginning of the article states plainly just 40 players.

There was an off the cuff interview with some head honcho from EA stating BF3 would not be out this fiscal year. Anyone know when EA's fiscal year runs?

40 players per team isn't much of an increase. If it's 40 players a game, then DICE just bought themselves bankruptcy.

As for destructible environments, I don't give a shit about. Gameplay and Massive Player Warfare is 10x more important.
