this kick thing is beginning to peeve me off

I don't know what the deal is, but I like the TTP server and rules, I like to join squads that work togeither. somehow someway, i will get bummped or see people i like iin another squad and leave, but after that I can not join another squad! I can't create a squad! and in the end I get booted for "not following the rules"

what is going on? how do i fix it?

It's called the squad bug. You have to disconnect and reconnect. Your client software still thinks you are in a squad and will not let you join another one or create one. It happens when you are opting in and out of squads, although it occasionally happens ever without doing this.

Also, you after your first spawn in, you must be alive to join a squad. You can only join a squad while dead if you have not spawned yet in that round.

So it is a known bug and there really isn't anything to do. just whatever I join I am stuck with?

I think you got booted tonight when I did. There was a team squad bug. After 3 squads were made and full no one else could create one. It doesn't happen ofter so just ride it out. To make things easier just type out "ADMIN MEC/US has a squad bug". This will alert an admin so they know why you are not in a squad. Normally the server will be reset. Sometimes you might be kicked because an admin comes in and doesn't know that there is a squad bug. He might be on the other team where squads are working. Just wait your minute and come back letting them know nicely that you had a squad bug.

I can see by the stats you linked to your profile( :9 thanks btw :9),that you are pretty new to the game. Here is a little rundown for you.

There are generally two types of squad bug. The individual variety,and the team bug. The individual flavor can usually be avoided by not joining a squad until the timer starts. Many times,when you have this type of bug,you show up as unsquadded to the rest of your team. The bug will not let you leave the squad you are in.If that is the case(where it won't let you leave a squad),you are definitely bugged. You have two choices...either disconnect from the server,then reconnect,or type in "all" chat(J) in caps "ADMIN SILO IS SQUAD BUGGED"...and do it a couple/few times so they don't miss it.

The other type is the team bug. There is nothing that you,as a player can do about this. Sometimes,it will only allow a team to create a limited number of squads,or no squads at all. When this happens...Type in all-chat (J) "ADMIN XXX SIDE IS SQUAD BUGGED"...chances are,others will already be on it. The only way to eliminate it,is to restart the server. Sit tight,and soon the admins will announce that they are restarting it...then reconnect...

There is a lot more here than just the BF2 area. Also,if you have any more questions,squad up with any of the resident clan tags you see( --->full list of all the clans here at TTP are in the column on the right). Some of the ones you will certainly encounter in BF2 are =PHX=,{HRD},[SsT],and [IRON]. All of our clan members and nearly all of our regs are really helpfull,nice people. Tell them you are new,and they will go out of their way to help and answer any questions you may have.

silo...welcome. Like everyone said, try to squad up and if you can't, let the admins know by typing your problem out in chat.

Couldn't they solve this by having a "Leave Squad" button in the squad selection screen even when you aren't in a squad?

Has anyone tried the "Create a squad key" Cause that one automatically takes you out of your squad and throws you into a new one regardless of if your squad leader. Its the most retarded key in the game, but it just dawned on me I've never tried to use it when squad glitched.
