I am in the same position...

My only hope for the air combat stuff is to hitch a ride with an ace pilot and shoot everything that moves...

Road kills seem so ridiculous an random...though I did start getting my knife and pistol badges by purposely handicapping myself in the round. This hasn't worked well on TTP though...

I haven't even started on the commander stuff, being stuck without a mic 50% of the time makes these unlikely (especially when there are so many good commanders out there).
