BF2 Image
I don't have my BF2 disk, I wanted to play BF2 and forgot I needed a disk (doh!)
I'm at college so... I can't just go get my disk.
1- Can I download an official "No Disk" Version since I already have the game? (I don't know the CD key either since I don't have the box, which the disk is in.)
2- Can I download an image of the CD to mount with daemon tools?
3- Can I download a no-CD crack?
Just post that it's not allowed if you want me to remove one of those, I'm unsure.

Redacted by Arreo. Making a FULL image of the disc for backup is legal. Using a mini-image or No-CD crack may or may not be illegal (depends on who you ask). And linking to sites that supply such is not allowed at TTP.

Re: BF2 Image
There is no "official" No-CD version. And if you don't have the CD-Key, you are pretty much out of luck unless you can get it somehow or it is already installed. But if you do or it is installed, you can use a mini-image or full image mounted on Daemon. I use the mini-image and it works perfectly.
And no, you can't download a no-CD crack. Punkbuster will notice the altered .exe and will kick you from every server.

OK I guess I need the full image then. Can anyone give either make one for me or give me a link?
I have the game installed, just don't have the disk or CD key on hand.

Enough.
This is skirting on the very edge of what is legal and what isn't. And damned if I'm going to have TTP put on some content filter for mentioning warez too often.
Legally, you can make a FULL disk image backup. You can then use a disk mounting software and mount the image, thus allowing you to play the game.
Mini-images are made solely for the purpose of defeating the copy/CD check protection and the legality of them is gray at best.
This discussion does not need to continue here at TTP.
