Alright, I want to know who's in and helping me with this project. So far Yayupp, KJ, and KingArthor have offered to help or have already sent me footage. If you wish to help as well add me on xfire and then send me the videos that way. Just transfer the file through chat and I'll get it. Once have a few videos I'll try to show you guys the opening I had in mind for the project. And btw, since this footage is from people here at ttp I'm giving them credit to help spread the word. Hopefully everyone who watches the guide will come here to the forums or the servers.

As I said though, add me on xfire and send the footage, I'm usually always on. Even if my graphics card is busted to hell.

For those of you with large video files put them up here.

It'll make it much easier to grab all the files and you can do it all on your own time.

And btw, there's a deadline now. I want some more footage by my birthday, December 17, if I don't have enough by that time I'll just drop the project. So please if you're wanting to help post links, pm me, whatever, just let me know if you want to help me make this tutorial possible.

Ok - so tell me. Is there a method of perhaps reducing the video quality in xfire recording a bit so that it doesn't stutter as much? I took some footage on Camp G the other day, but due to the stutter during the recording the video isn't really worth much in regards to showing off the Assault kit and strats.

If you go to the video options in xfire you can change how fast it records and how big you want the file to be, options like 30, 60, and 100 frames per second and choosing between half size and full size are available to you. You'll have to experiment a little to find what works best for you.

Half-size at 30 will usually give you a good result, and try to remember to turn the recording off between spawns, it just eats up HD space. And then of course remember to turn it back on when the action is hot again.

Sound... you can turn off in game recording, that will reduce HD load, and remove any potential embarrassing remarks; like calling one of your clanmates on the other side some very despicable name. Besides, subtitles get the information across easier anyway.
