Missing Purple Hearts?

OK. Sometimes, I feel as if my entire purpose on the battlefield is to give give the opfor a little bit of target practice. And then there are rounds like last night where I am used for A LOT of target practice ..

Twice now, I have earned a Purple Heart :roll: but have not received it in my medals. The most recent one was awarded last night. I only have my first one listed in my stats. What gives?

I have noticed there is a delay sometimes on the stats updating. Not on any particular server but in general. I check the next day and they are always there.

When i first started playing BF2, I would get at least one purple heart per map and they would never register after my first initial PH.. Now a days, I dont mind not getting a purple heart, considering you must die like 7 times in a row without a kill to attain one . . . :P

you might get granted a purple heart, 10 times maybe, but there will always be just one in your medals.....thats the only medal that you can be awarded like 50 times but you will only recieve once....

Thanks for the explanation. I'm trying not to earn them, but sometimes you just spawn looking the wrong way in a firefight.

I cringe when i see a purple heart. Your kill to death ratio must be 1:4 with the minimum kills of 5, and minimum deaths of 20+. Not really a desired medal. It means you ran into everything they had and ate it

Yet somehow managed to kill at least 5 of them WOOHOO.

During your first few weeks you will experience Genocide, it happens to everyone.

hey relax, i should technically have the badge for the MEC map thing (1second on each map)....and there all checkmarked, but it doesn't showup, lol. its been like that for 3-4weeks now, lol.

Same with me I have recieved about half a dozen purple hearts but only one is shown, I have no idea what is going on with that

My opinion a purple heart is one of the most embarrassing awards you could possibly get. I got it for BF2 on my 2nd day of game play. Still haven't gotten it for BF2142 and don't plan on getting in at all.
