Can't play on TTP!!!

Okay, just bear with me, Technology and I don't get along well.
I have insalled the new patch (I just installed it over the original one) But now I still can't join ttp. I think it might be an IP join problem. My problem might be with the port I think. I put the IP I found for the new server in, and I thought that the port was the last four numbers (I don't really know much about this stuff) anyway, it says that it isan incorrect ip address and I can't find TTP in the server list either.

Can anyone help me?

You can try joining off of the Game Monitor on the Left side of this page, scholl down... Shows 1 person online rightnow! Go fill up the server.

It says that bf2 is not a registered protocol.

all you realy have to do to find the new server is to search. on your server page in bf2 on the left side there is a box that says search by name! just type in texasteamplayers and it should pull it up if not just try texas!.
