I definitely prefer the mechanics and balance in 2142 better, don't get me wrong... Something about the community over in BF2 put a leash around my neck and pulled me in.

Yep, BF2 is an awesome game, everything seems pretty balanced other than the jets. They are so fucking powerful, I honestly think they should place some constraints on the jets. A simple fix would be the way they reload/repair, give me a flying fucking break I FLY over the runway and I'm good as new, fully loaded and repaired...LAME. Make it a requirement to land and be on the ground to reload/repair, at least they will be vulnerable for a little while. MY BF2 cents.

2142 is a better balanced game.

If they gave a SAAW like weapon to allow for anti-air to be more mobile and not have a giant target on them like the fixed AA and mobile AA vehicles do... BF2 would be a lot more balanced, IMHO.

Yep. That's what BF2 needs: Laggy. If you could figure out how to work your magic in modern times, it would make the game 200% better, at least. I prefer the increased deadliness of the weapons in BF2, and the need to go prone reduced the "halo" factor compared to 2142, but those damned jets....
