Help with Battlefields Special Forces add on....

Hi TTP - I've recently purchased the battlefield complete collection so I could use the add-on packs, mainly the special forces add-on. My question is how do I activate the weapon unlocks - I am currently sitting at sgt so I have 3 unlocks on my account, do I have to unlock all first then the SF? Or are the SF unlocked with the upgraded Basic? Thanks for your help guys! Ash

Each kit has 2 unlocks. The first is a "basic" unlock, and the second is the "SF" unlock. You have to get the basic unlock for a kit before you can get the "SF" unlock for the same kit.

But on the bright side, you don't have to get the basic unlock for every kit before getting "SF" unlocks. If you want, you can unlock one kit at a time.

And I think you should find an SF server and play a full round. Your number of unlocks will double the first time you do that.

Oh, and don't listen to Reject. If you like medic, you will want the G36E (second unlock for medic).

You don`t even have to play in an SF server. Just hop into any BF2 server, after installing SF, play for a bit then close down BF2 and start it back up again. You should get rained down with unlocks (to make up for all the unlocks you would have got if you had SF from the start). Also you will get 2 unlocks at every rank up from now on.

G36E and P90 are good ones to get (Medic and AT)

Beauty!!! Thanks guys, I had installed yesterday then had play for a few hours and was not seeing the upgrade... Logged in this morning and played a round of SF and then left and it drummed for me

Took both your advice and grabbed the medic G36E and the AT P90

Then treated myself to an upgraded Spec OPs

The g36 is a noob gun for people who don't know how to shiver there hand to get the m16 to shoot fully automatic.

*Note, the 1st unlocks can not be used in SF, god only knows why

He means click very fast, M16 is on burst...to make it full auto

Bah, I gave up on trying to convince everyone along time ago. It is still a nub cannon though, I can't change that fact. :P

Your not a noob for asking, few peoplpe know to do it, and you us single shotbust decreases your accurasy to fast. Some of the standard guns are pretty dam good. M16, American spec ops carbine, RPK, SAW, US sniper rifle i think the m24, and hell all the AKs.

Thanks for the info! For some weird reason I seem to have better luck with the L85A1 (Auto) than the G36 (3X burst) - I find myself reloading the G36 wayyyy more than the L85A1 which usually ends up with another medic helping me!!

So since we are on the topic of guns and tactics what experience can you guys give me on your fave kit/gun? I have a love for the PKM and almost don't want to upgrade it.... I have my next rank coming soon and have started to think about which upgrades will workout

I have basic unlocks for support,medic,AT and SF unlocks for AT,Medic,SpecOps.... So any thoughts on that too?
