Thread: Sorry for being an A$$Hat lately

Hey guys,
I want to appologize for my behavior here of late. From language to attitude. Perhaps real life stresses have leaked into my gameplay time(which is one of the ways to relieve stress ironiclly enough). As many of you know, I play pretty regularly, though not as regular as I would like(again, real life stresses). Lately when playing, I have felt that nearly every bullet fired my direction scores a headshot. I am wearing heavy armor, I try to keep moving, but none of that seems to help my opponents miss. On top of that, there are still quite a few new members to the server that dont exactly play as a squad but are still lone wolfing it under the pretense of being a part of a squad. It has been quite frustrating lately. That frustration has come through in my com chatter as of late. I do appologize. I really do enjoy playing the game still, and many of you I enjoy playing with and agaisnt, so I felt I should appologize to you all for being something of an A$$hat lately.

Hmm, this sounds familiar . Don't feel bad Mud, I have the same problem and have to take breaks from the gaming stress myself. I'm a half a$$ decent sniper but some nights I feel like a newb getting owned by every sniper on the other team. So cheer up bro cause your not alone...............................

Sounds exactly like my gameplay the last couple of nights. I miss easy tank shots, unload a clip and not even hit the other guy once, even got killed when a guy bailed out of the transport and it fell on my head.

My solution? I'm going to start commanding again and take out my frustrations on the other team with orbitals. :5

Indeed, 2142 often adds stress rather than relieves it. The random server crashes, RDX jumping malfunctions in humanity, there's a lot that adds up. Hope you have a better time on it from now on.

Welcome to my world! If I get frustrated every time a newbie gets the kill when I get the jump on them, I'd be in an insane asylum by now. I do get frustrated at times though! Last night was one. First, was mad the server was only 22 deep at like 830 or something. I was popped on the team with the just F it attitude, looked like the entire victrix clan decided to take over the server last night! somehow all on the same team even! Anyways, my, brinkie poo, pappie and a few others just got railroaded at EVERY silo we tried to take on Minsk. Asshat commanders, all of it. It is very frustrating though when You're the only squad (seemingly) that is accomplishing anything.
While I have the floor, I will bring up another point. Why would you FIGHT at 1 (next to enemy titan) to capture it when you had no other silos? We did not even have 5 and the other squad was fighting to capture one. The ONLY time I will do that is if it's empty and I can make a quick flip. Otherwise, I feel it's more important to capture the closer silos.
Then to top off an awesome night of gaming, my PC froze on me. I decided that was my sign to retire for the evening.

LOL blackgold. It wasn't just your side that seemed really F'd up. I commanded quite a few rounds last night and geesh the idiots (IDIOTS) that were on. The clan and the other newbies. Most of the night I would give an order and the squad lead and one of his members would show up there, but the rest of his squad would be all over the map. Non-regs were Squad Leading and not using mics, what a pain in the arse to try and command that way. On top of all the a$$hats that were running rampant and the non-squaders. Sometimes $hit just doesn't fall into place.

Hopefully this evening will be a nice and peaceful gaming night and we can all just follow orders and things will go smooth as butter.

Oh and I am so proud of my VTRX boys showing up in such force lately. We are starting to look like the 5th used to look. Brings a tear to my eye.
