Fixing your joystick after the patch
i don't know if this was talked about in another post but im making it real easy for everyone to find.
IF YOU ARE HAVING CONTROL PROBLEMS WITH BF 2,
as in your joystick seems just unresponsive,
Because of the addition for the Falcon controler, you need to rest your joystick controls and place them to a seconardy control box and apply
Dispatch the DooM

I had to reset the flight controls in the primary position. My secondary position is empty. The buttons did not need to be reset.

I didn't make any adjustments at all to the Falcon settings. I simply click on the control link and updated all the AirCraft/Helicopter settings to respond to my joy stick just like I did the first time I set up for air controls when I got a joystick. It's not rocket science, and if it somehow is, then I want my Master & PH.D for knowing how to use the game controls for normal play award.
It wasn't that hard to realize that in the game control panel, that all of the joystick settings had been converted to 'Falcon' settings. Thus a quick simple little fix was in order and I don't really see how confusing it was. You should talk mister ooops i slipped and hit E, must have been my ping.
Hey all i can tell you is right after patching, my jet only responded to rolls not pitch, this is what i was told to do to fix it and it worked.Dispatch the DooM
