I got to play some great rounds this evening. Unfortunately, I our team had one clown who doesn't deserve to play on this server. The attached screenshot is right before I turned around to revive Triggerhappy from the 2nd or 3rd TK from him. I should have gotten a screenshot when I turned around, because |SI| SERIALBUTCHER was standing over the corpse (sorry Trigger!) shooting at it.

From what I could tell, he was throwing a temper tantrum because he didn't get to drive the APC earlier in the round. He kept spamming "get out" until the APC was destroyed by the opfor. After that, he started hunting Triggerhappy until he disappeared - probably kicked.

It's hard enough to keep a good squad leader alive without your own team taking shots at him.

Hi TTP ppl, I could not believe what I read about myself, because I have never tk'd for a vehicle EVER

As was pointed out I have 4500 tk's in 9000+ rounds, that is LESS than 0.5 tk's per round, I only get 1 tk for every 30 kills of the enemy, I am not saying that is great, but it IS w/ in the normal range for ppl that have a lot of vehicle time due to roadkills, forced tk's, & errant bombs, & missles

I do admit that I have @ times "took matters into my own hands" when there is no admin around because some smaktard tk'd, or forced tk on me, or abused me in some other way

After looking @ the screenshot, & some serious contemplation I do recall the incident between triggerhappy, & I, he "stole" an APC that I was repairing, he waited until I finished repairs, & "drove off" leaving me laying on the ground w/ my wrench in my hand taking fire, I caught up to him, & told him to "get out" several times, he ignored me, & to "add insult to injury" he got us both killed w/ out scoring a point, or a kill

I was really "pissed", so I did tk him, I do not remember if he returned the favor, but I do remember tk'in him for this "offense" until I was kicked

I am not going to say I was justified, I was wrong because 2 wrongs don't make a right, so I apologize for my actions

I have played along side trigger happy since then, & had forgotten all about this incident, & thought it was in the past

I am not ranked as high as BJ, but we do have simularities, I am a 42 yr. old automotive engineer working @ the GM World Headquarters in Warren, Michigan, I earn a nice income w/ out working any OT, so I am able to provide a living for my family, enjoy a lot of online play, & "still have a life", my only daughter is 18, & starting college, my home is finished, so my life is "uncomplicated"

Am I a "team player"? I do the best I can

You impressed me in that post.

well we sure appreciate you coming by to share your side of the story.....it seems to fit the occasion of what actually happened.....I also hope you understand that we take Teamkilling on our server seriously....Normally you would have gotten banned for it, but for whatever reason, you were kicked instead.......We work hard to provide a pleasent environment here.....

When a guy jumps into a vehicle far from the spawn, & hears the wrenching, how can he (especially a general) not know what he is doing is wrong, it is a kick/ban offense on many servers

I do feel that I am also a victim in this incident

We all understand that the accidental TK's happen. It's the intentional ones that aren't easily swallowed by this community. You will find that most of the players on this server work hard to make this a place that people want to play - not because it's easy to rack up points, but because of the level of conduct you can expect from your team mates.

I'm glad to know the other side of what happened that night. It make more sense and I'm sure our squad would have jumped out (or never have gotten in) if we had realized that you were repairing the APC. As you play more on this server, you will find that many of the regs will take a bullet for their team if it helps the team or keeps another member alive. We don't play as individuals.

But most of all, welcome, Serialbutcher. We are glad you have stopped by and posted. Please stick around. Let us all get to know you. You are an awesome pilot. You bombed the crap out of me repeatedly last night on Gulf of Oman. I wanted to stand there on the beach and shake a digitally animated fist at you in the sky every time I tried to run to the flags. You had our team pinned the whole game.
