can't fly to save my own life

When the server was empty early in the morning over the weekend I tried my hand at flying. I really need to get a joystick configured because flying with the mouse doesn't work for me in BF2. I can fly just fine in 2142 with just the mouse and keyboard. Anyway...it was sad. There were a couple of people on who witnessed my fiery crashes. Hope my insurance company finds out, don't want my BF2 auto insurance to skyrocket

I found that a good amount of crashes is in fact really a healthy learning curve... I now can jump in a plane knowing how they work now, I spent 10+ hours offline just in a jet - bombing and avoiding objects

I was horrible, in fact there was even a flight school thread where Manno's bombing guide was posted - thx again Xav n Manno

Check that out and soviets accurate bombing thread, I love using my MK for flying saves desk space if nothing else! Even Steggy was impressed by my improvement in a helo - MK again! I think if you try hard enough MK is fine - look at Xav he's really part turtle and he still manages to MK kill everything (whilst petting his carebear I might add)

M/K is easy. I flew with it a long time and still had no trouble dominating most players....then I realized taking down people like xavsnipe and (2)manno doesn't work out if they have an advantage. Of course now jets require no skill to kill the enemy jet and so M/K is all you need.
