I see alot more people with 20 ms, 30 ms pings, and then I see others with 100+ pings...seems that for some it's working great and for others it's gotten worse.

I still experience some lag in random spurts, and my ping always seems ok. It always happens at the worst time to like when i was runnin over to knife a sniper.. i lagged and then all of a sudden i was the one knifed by the sniper. :3

Same here ping use to be a hair better like 47 now im at 58 and i get small lag spikes with no pattern. I didnt say anything because i was getting spikes from 58 to over 1000 so its a definite improvment on my end.

I normally average 30 ping and then until recently it spikes to 300 ping in the middle of the round. Lasts 5 to 10 minutes and then I go back to 30. I did the tracert thing and received no responses on that thread. I never had this issue until the past week.

I have been playing on the server for the past couple of months. I used to average 30-70 ping. Now, I am constantly in the mid-100's and spike up to 200-300. I also can't see the TTP graphic banner anymore. I have reset my modem and turned off my firewall. Internet Ping test shows 40-60 ping on their site.

I am not very computer savvy - any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums! We are sorry that you are having these troubles, please post the following:

go to your start menu, go to the search for programs or files field, type in "cmd" without the ", then type in "tracert 207.210.254.226:16568 .txt" and it should give you a copy and pasteable tracert. Please post it here: http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?topic=631.0 We may be better able to help you there, or pin point the problem.

i dunno that its a server issue or not, but lately between round changes my game occasionally gets "left behind", where on my client it doesnt switch teams, yet i'm still connected to the server (and show switched teams on the scoreboard of others), but for me im stuck at the end round spawn screen where it shows me still on the same team, the X-0 ticket count, but i just can't do anything. my only resolve is to disconnect and reconnect (even in the server browser when im about to disconnect/reconnect i can see me on the proper team, still connected to the server). I know it happens to at least one other as well. anyhoo, it just seems to occur more often lately ("often" being 1-3 times a night) and was wondering if it happens to anyone else and/or any known resolution.
