What about those of us who have the CD version? Are we still unable to enjoy some of the steam tools like steam messaging in game?

at the very least, there is now no excuse for you steam guys not to join us :4 :4

I'd say, try to activate it through steam using your CD key...

You could certain other games not offered through steam onto steam i think.

I just tried to activate my copy of BF2 Complete though steam, but it didn't work. Of course my Complete edition comes with three different CD keys (one for BF2, one for SF and one for AF/EF). I tried all three and none worked.

So poopy.
