Blood_Thirst wouldn't have to choose. There's no stopping him because under his tank, is another tank!
Honestly though, if I had to choose knowing I could definitely hit one of them, I'd go for the gunship just because they are generally the bigger headaches for the whole team over a transport full of people.

to those of you who said you'd take a shot and then bail from the tank, part of Maestrale's condition included that if you don't shoot the gunship, you die (so you don't get to bail out/ have your cake and eat it.)

i see a fundamental problem with this whole scenario from the start
So, here is the dilemma
You're in a tank and defending one Silo on your own, you're shield is down and you've just hit a gunship.
you wouldn't have his issue if you were with your squad. you would have others to deal with whatever you communicated with your squad. IE: I'm hitting the gunship get the podders!!!!!

As SL I often split my squad to assault a silo and leave 1 or more to defend another.

Well on paper I would hit the gunship with my tank then hop out and hit the transport with my pilum then hop back in the tank and finish the transport off.
In reality my tank shot would go through the gunship and not register, my pilum would hit the transport but cause no damage then while trying to run for cover a sniper headshots me and lose the silo.
