I've only played by myself so I have no clue... My only problem is that the map in my eyes is inverse, where its tall its not. So when i get a chance to play with more people I'll let y'all know! Looks like it should be some real fun though!

I like it for a map that took 4 days to make.. Would be better played in CnC mode .

I don't mind it, most definatly would rather play one of the other maps though. The one thing that is the most irritating is any supply crate dropped is gonna go to the complete bottom of the hill before it stops and driving around in there gets on my nerves. Not a half bad map but there are plenty others that I prefer.

I like it for the infantry tactics, but there aren't enough rock statics for my tastes. I like that there are helos, but I haven't seen them be extremely useful on this map yet besides the occasional crate drop.

I enjoyed the first few minutes of it but I could do without it.

You really need a new sound for stepping on snow, the current one is just gross lol. It could use some kind of structure or at least landmark of some kind at the CPs, since it feels kind of weird and pointless to capture something that looks no different from the rest of the map.

Agree with Demos. I love the snow. When I hop into the snow map, hearing what sounds reminiscent of stepping in slop/swamp/mud at first detracts from the experience. The snow maps on DoD:S have the sound right I think.

Also, it seems kind of odd to have bags/equipment that is green as cammo. They kinda stick out.

The map as a whole is nice. Unfortunately I have not had the joy of a full server with it, but the terrain was great. I could actually drive almost anywhere I wanted on the map so access wasn't a problem. There are some nice places for FOBs as well.

It might be interesting to have a partially frozen lake … extremely slick … but then this is a touch that may be more than some might like. I don't recall where, but I know I have played a game where falling into water on the snow map caused damage ...

I would like to know if it is possible to have more debris fly up when a projectile hits the snow or even the ability to track people in the snow. Again, perhaps more than what is possible.

Wind – wind sounds up on the peaks would likely be worthwhile and add to the ambience.

I don't recall finding any caves ... this would be a nice touch also.

Agree with the crate drop observations. Although I did find enough places that worked okay.

Finally, it was fun to have a snow map.
My goal is to succeed in any mission - and live to succeed again.
God grant that I may not be found wanting, that I will not fail this sacred trust.

    "bite my shiny metal ...!"

    there are many other servers
... NONE like TPG, the epicenter of team play!

Most of that can be attributed to the fact that they said they would never have a snow map since it would require all new static buildings and sounds and the like.

I find it fun as what it basically is, an alpha test map for some snow features.
