Anubis....all the advise you have been given is right....look for Iamjohnnyricco, (4)manno, jeep, Xavsnipe or even myself and we will help you out in game. Don't be afraid to speak up with questions.

Read this thread.....lots of good squad leaders listed and joining anyone of these guys will be a tremendous help. Also...be patient.....you are going to get owned......but your skill set will improve remarkably by playing all these great players.

GRIN No, you got kicked from my squad cause you were not spawning green and were AWOL halfway across the map in our transport helo trying to steal the enemy jet. But now after the thread on airwhoring I'm actually quite excited to have my own airwhore in squad. So Xav, I guess what I'm saying is you complete me.....

Anubis - Welcome!!! It is hard to get up to speed on a game that's been out for so long with so many highly skilled players - it's like pulling onto the freeway with your garden tractor. The key thing is that regardless of your skill level you are willing and want to work with the squad - which is the mainstay of this server. I always believe it is easier to build skillsets than break a bad attitude, and you're got a great attitude / desire to learn. And don't listen to Rico, join the Wookin squad. We travel to cooler locations and our med packs are laced with sugar....

Anubis welcome ! I guess you watch or watched Star Gate LOL On a more serious note you have come to the best server as far as people who are ready willing and able to Help you learn the game. As far as the Wookin squad or the Rico squad goes they are both top notch squad leaders ! I think you'll find most of the people who "live" here are just a great bunch of guys and girls.......... and for god;s sake don;t forget the girls ! Cleanfreak SfriChick and Warlady are some good examples of top notch women squad leaders too ! Anyway glad you could join us !

Here's a question.
Sometimes, the spawn menu shows the map with everyone one on it. Sometimes, it shows the big green and white dots that allow me to chose where I'm spawning. I don't seem to be able to reliably switch between the two... Any ideas?

There is just a general map screen and one that is the "Squad Screen". I have them bound to two separate keys so I know which is which. Your controls menu will tell you the default keys for each and you can then override them.
