You can do it!
I'd like to announce to you all that 60 minutes reporter has graduated from his addiction to the G36E.
I would like for him and all of the rest of you BF2 players to get used to using stock weapons and give up your habit of using unlocks.
I say this to make you become a better GP player.
Use the hardest weapon of choice = Hardcore (League) player.
When you get revived and get a kit that you are not familiar with or you pick up any kit. You won't be playing with a handicap because it's not your weapon of choice.
Try it out?!?! You will only get better at playing the game if you do.
Hardest weapon to use is the MP5 USMC Antitank submachine gun, good for close engagements only.
that Benelli shotty kicks ass...and the FAMAS too.
NME = Outstanding players that uses stock weapons. DoubleFistin also, my former =SUX= clan mate...sorry if I have overlooked any players that utilizes stock weapons.
Another note for BF2 players...If you see any SL needing a revive..revive them as priority besides the other bodies lying around..look at your minimap or pick up any medic kit if available and revive, if it has a number, it's the SL and your team will play better and might win as a result..or you all get bombed/artied and die anyways.

Sounds suspiciously like Jeep doesn't want to sully his velvety-soft lady-parts with anything other than his beloved DAO-12.
I would say it's a toss-up between the MP5 and the Type 85 PLA AT SMG. The Type 85 is auto-only (where the MP5 can be single/auto), which means you have to milk the trigger to fire single shots for longer range targets (a difficult feat at 900 rounds/minute); then again, you always know it's on full auto, so no walking around a corner to discover you've set it to single when you really need to empty the magazine into someone.

GMG you are most definitely missing RejectWolf off your list - best base weapon guy I've seen - speaking of which, where the hell has he been?
I obviously prefer my G36 - but I swap into the base weapons based on situation. That said, the G36 is by far the most versatile gun in the game - why move away from it?

Most the base weapons rock, this isn't patch 1.3 or whatever. I also happen to love the MP5 and can take you down with it since it functions like the rest of the guns I prefer to use. Once you learn how to single and burst fire auto weapons you can pretty much make any weapon in BF2 lethal.
I'd have to say the worst weapon in the game is the MEC default autoshotty. Its loaded with spitwads or something, cause it damn sure doesn't have bullets.

And to say that it's the "worst weapon in the game" is definitely not true. The MP5 is pretty bad, G3 isn't all there, MP7 is kinda bad, and the Type 85 are all worse than the Saiga.
So stop badmouthing the Saiga! 8)
