Finally. Someone who shares my absolute abhorrence of snipers. For me, they rank somewhere between belly button lint, child molesters and people who talk in the theater.

2 people added to this list to knife. I just realised while reading this thread i have never knifed ranger. Definitely have to fix that.

Hard to knife someone flying over head. Although, Wookin felt the sting of my blade tonight. Delish.

@ Arreo... Snipers in real combat are the bringers of death. Truly a force to be reckoned with. However, in BF2, there is rarely a time when you sit back and "snipe" people to hold a flag. I mean you can try, sure, but in reality a group of highly motivated guys with medics and a sense of adventure is going to rush a sniper and kill him even if they lose guys to clays. And of course, as you've said, rushing with a sniper rifle in your hand is optimistic to the point of foolishness.

I guess that's why I dislike the BF2 sniper so much. In reality, they are feared like no other. But in BF2, they leave something to be desired.

We should petition EA to make the sniper a "one shot anywhere, one kill" kit. Then they'd be awesome.

But you should also mention that it was just as I got revived and was as helpless as a baby fresh from the womb - and then straight back to the grave And yes, my squad and I then sat down and discussed the importance of "clearing the area' prior to rezzing their SL.....

You got revived after I killed you, then knifed you again. I would have got the rest of your lemmings had I not run out of ammo (thus the knife).

I remember running up to the airfield and seeing a Ranger10 tag on the ground - I distinctly recall saying to myself "What sort of sorcery is this I've never seen this tag outside of an enemy helo before".

And I can't believe you called my squad "lemmings". My squad and I also discussed this and they said they're offended. There is no need to be hurtful and resort to name calling.

Bonus for Attacking a Larger Force: +1/2 credit
Penalty for Referring to My Squad as a Group of Furry Mindless Animals: -1/2 credit
