Widescreen Fix
So, I see that they finally allow you to select from a array of different resolutions. I have to use 1920x1020 and naturally that was the setting I selected. It just doesn't seem like it's really running at that res. I've used that widescreen fixer in the past, but I haven't tried that yet. Should I download it again or is it really running at 1920 and I'm just being paranoid?
I used a 22" monitor in the past, but I'm currently on a 28", so maybe that's why my perspective of a true 1920x1020 is off? I dunno...

Re: Widescreen Fix
I used to use widescreen fixer prior to the 1.5 patch...it was never as good as what's built into the game now. Try some different resolutions to see if they look better for you.
From what i gather though, everyone (admin's included), need to have a cup of shut-the-$%^-up, take a few to chill... - Bunni

Re: Widescreen Fix
I used to use that widescreen fixer, it was nice. Even the new "native" (not) widescreen support doesn't adjust the field of view correctly. The engine just takes a 4:3 render and chops off the top and bottom of the image to give you a cheapened version of widescreen.
True widescreen should let you see more than a person with a 4:3 display, BF2's actually makes you see less. :5

Re: Widescreen Fix
Not sure, I haven't played in awhile, but here's the link to the tool I remember using, it seems like its still actively developed and usable for the 1.5 patch. http://imk.cx/pc/widescreenfixer/
