BF: BC2 friends list

I know I sent out a bunch of friends requests but havent gotten any responses per say. At least my list is showing 0/0. Does this thing actually work? Can/has anyone joined a game via the friends list?

I have had three requests and hit the little arrow button next to them that is the only thing clickable resembling an accept button (cuz there is a big X button next to that one as well) and I still show up as 0/0 as well.

I want to at least once have a team full of TTPers....or a squad, just these pugs are so annoyingly STUPID.

Per an official statement in one of the dev blogs.

The friends list works, but since the servers are so overloaded, the friend's "request list" times out and shows 0/0. Your friends are still there, though.

So, I got about 10 friend requests that I confirmed last night (at least I assume that the arrow was confirm and the x was ignore). But, as everyone else is saying the friends list is borked at the moment.

As for the servers, I've not see a US based server yet since I installed the beta. The only ones that I ever get connected to are in the UK so ping is a bit high.

Tried joining some people off of Steam last night, but that failed so played two 1 v 1 rounds last night against some random person

the server browser works, it just takes a rediculous amount of time to load. Look for a server called "Hypernia Battlefield Bad Company 2 Beta Dallas". Thats the server we have designated as "ours" You'll find us there.

Now that i am playing with TTP people, I dont think I have seen a score of less than 3 or 4 thousand.

I have noticed that Hypernia has only about 5 or 6 Dallas servers, maybe 10 Chicago, but they have nearly 60 running out of Sydney Australia......

Pote, how long is "ridiculous?"

I've let it set there for a few minutes (2-3?) and by that time, I usually just jump in as I've not got hours and hours to play.
