Lag problem
I have been experiencing big time lag on many servers, my ping is not high at all, especially on any texas based servers . I usually get a lot of lag at the start of each round and then, every 5 to 10 minutes of each game. i'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem or can it possibly just be my computer crashing? I have tried restarting my computer, turning it off while at work and still doesnt work. Maybe it needs to be cleaned since it may have collected a lot of dust. Any help would be great!

I've been experiencing this as well, last night was pretty bad. My ping remained low, but the lag ingame was palpable and normally occured at the worst times....

Well, I did a little looking into my computer and realized it was caused by all things, my new headset that was plugged in through my new keyboard. Disconnected the headset from the keyboard and lag has disappeared (knock on wood).

4) Stopped any unnecessary services (search the web for your OS - be sure to note what services you disable to turn back on in case of issues, or take restore point)
5) Lowered my ingame resolution. I know, sounds strange but there are a number of documented cases that while you can run high res (mine was 1680 x 1050) ingame it screws with the hitboxes and accuracy
6) Ensured the refresh rate ingame was the same / lower than windows screen refresh rate. People have had CTD issues when the ingmae refresh rate (say 70hz) is greater than the windows rate (say 60hz). No idea why
Hope that helps, like I said I see a minor improvement but I still get "jittery" especially when sighting up on someone
