it's loading.
I have loaded the game, I click on the short cut and it looks like it's about to start' the bf2 logo comes on and than the screen goes dark and then goes back to desk top.

Sorta sounds like it may be video drivers, or your firewall/av stuff is blocking it. try disabling your firewall and a/v (one at a time) first. It seems the game is starting, but something is killing it as soon as it starts.

After the fw/av tries......give your video drivers a look as well.

I tried the firewall stuff and it still didnt work and i dont know anything about av ?

Since yopu are seeing the BF2 logo when you fire it up, the game should be golden....install-wise. Either something is making it crash (drivers, either sound or video) or something is killing it (AV, firwall).

Also, try right-clicking on the desktop shorty (or in the Start menu), and run the game as an administrator.

Before I gave myself full controll and I have even tried running it as a admin but still nothing. Now I tried giving myself full control again and it doesn t allow me to. How do I check the AV?
One more thing DEX can you help get my old account back up and running it shoudl be under Harry not Mr Harry.

Make sure you video card has up to date drivers, running BF2 in administrator mode, check/edit the video con-fig file in your profile (My documents\battlefield 2\profiles\001).Open it in notepad. Another thing for you to try is delete every thing in BF2 profile (usually its named profile) in my documents...
