INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Right click on the BF2 shortcut on desktop and click properties, set your admin privileges to full control for bf2 and make sure you have "run as administrator" checked.

2. Right click on the shortcut on the desktop and click open file location and then do the same admin privileges on the actual BF2.exe

3. Last most important step, I think Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 somehow dont allow Punkbuster update under Windows 7 so you have to do it manually.

I believe this is for issues and fixes for the game itself. If the server is having problems then the thread I linked above will advise the people with the power to fix the server.

That's the way it transferred over.....I'm not sure why.
