I would be pretty surprised if they didn't wipe everybody's stats. Either way....not a big deal. You still have the experience as an advantage,and getting to Rank 11 isn't all that difficult.

I just want VOIP.

I don't care all too much about the browser or the Friends list....if the game has VOIP,and is hosted at TTP,I don't need a working Friends list,or a convenient browser.....I will be going to the same place.

TTP doesn't associate with consoles that much, although we do have a console forum on the web site. If TTP went with consoles, it wouldn't work too well. Plus, console's is where all the jack asses are. TTP try's to get rid of the PC ones.

For the most part console players would not follow our guidelines and it'd be much harder to enforce our rules, so we'll stick with PC. I'm not even sure we'll be able to host anything for consoles even if we wanted too.

And I don't care how you try to say it, they'll never allow console gamers to play with PC gamers. PC just have too many advantages so it just wouldn't work for an FPS game like this.

This game is multi-CPU aware. Every indication from DICE is that if you don't have a multicore CPU (and they recommend quad core) your performance will suffer. Also, support for DX9 is limited and if you aren't running a DX10 GPU, and aren't running Vista or Win7, your experience will suffer. If you have any doubts that your rig will handle the game, pre-order from GameStop or Steam and get a public beta key.

I'm currently running an Intel 3.0 Dual Core processor with a ATI 4850HD card with 512 video ram on it and I have 4 Gigs of DDR2.

I can run the game pretty well on Low at a 1280x800 resolution and it doesn't look too bad. I could probably bump up the graphics a little bit but for now I'm happy with what I have.

The mounted heavy machine guns shred the chopper (just like in BF2) and the AA gun in the second seat of the BDMA is deadly as well. Most people don't bother to use them.

Don't play BF2 that much so I did not know that. I guess most people either just don't know what they are doing then or don't bother as you said. I just know an Apache stayed at our spawn the other night and just ass raped us. I even tried to get to a few of the different guns but got raped just attempting to get there.

I'll have to see about using the vehicles though to take it out easier. Like I said I also need to test the tracer dart gun to see if that helps too or not.
