Re: Things i despise the most about BF2142
I dislike *suicidal* ramming with the transport. It is a cheap tactic, but no doubt useful. As you said, it's part of the game, and I don't complain. And ramming is only easy to avoid if you're looking at the person, which, most of the time, isn't the case. What you did on wake island was creative and clever, and not cheap at all.
Mainly I'm just talking about ramming transports. It erks me. Jihaading (or however you spell it) erks me too, I absolutely hate it. But, it's part of the game, and I don't complain about it.
Oh, and, I never bitch.

none of this is a secret really its all available information. wish i BM'ed at post by the Dev's on the EA forums saying they have done the best they could and it is unlikely any futher tweeks would be coming. searching the EA forums thou the countless ZoMG voss threads alone is enough proof of the vosses unpopularity.
Now would I agree to a server ban on a weapon hell NO! never. the CSS BS with the AWP is proof going down that road is bad sport manship on both sides. however I've been on the otherside of the gun with the MP5 on cod4, I loved that thing but recognize it was unbalanced.

If I am a squad leader and I order one of my members to spawn on the titan and grab the gunship to take out the tank that is pounding us from a distance, then that is my order. The member goes and grabs the gunship. Now if someone is on deck and is standing waiting for a pilot, then 9 out of 10 times they are not supporting their squad or not following orders.
Also, why is it the responsibility of the pilot to change squads to be in communications with someone that is just standing there wanting to gun. It is in no way his responsibility. If the player wants to be the gunner, then he needs to make the effort to join the squad of the guy who is piloting, so that there is communications.
I don't know how to make it any more clear.

Promoting teamwork may help us retain a larger proportion of that dying populace.
I still maintane that soloing gunships, no matter how useful, doesn't promote teamplay. The preference should be that a gunship should be used as it was designed with a team of two manning it. Failing that, sure, solo the gunship all you want, as long as you're supporting your team.
