Thread: Hmm air Damage

So while playing Wake today and flying in a jet , :9, I started taking damage in small chunks while flying around the map. We already captured their airfield and their jets were down so it was not that. It wasn't an at rocket. Not a tank or car. The only thing it could have been was an m95 but it seem like it was taking out 3 bars of armor on my jet and it almost took me down at one point. There was a suspicious player on at the time but I want to know if this is possible to do so much damage to a jet first. Here is some video I took near the end but it seemed like I was taking even more damage earlier from this random shooter.

Every hit indication seemed to be coming from the Bunker just north of the Beach flag. And just about every time you were under 100m altitude.

Could have been a Sniper on top of the bunker. My first thought was a vehicle MG but I didn't see one when I paused the vid.

Can an M95 take off 3 bars of armor?

I don't know about 3 bars but it might depend on where you hit it. It does about 2-3 bars on a chopper.

But it was taking off 3 bars on every hit. And he is in a jet flying at speeds beyond what someone could (in my opinion) consistently hit you. He was hitting JPCarey on almost every pass. If it was the same guy sniping on Great Wall, he was hitting our squad with some extremely questionable shots from all over the place.

I know of whom you speak. Had the same thoughts myself. And his name does consistently appear in the Killed By list using an M95. A little too consistently.

Nice to actually see what you were talking about, Carey. The only sniper rifle that can do damage like that is the M95, and the person we suspect went 40-5 that second round of Wake as a sniper. With the M95, too. That is impossible without some assistance. Then, on Great Wall, I went to spec him just to look for any snapping motion, and he quit.

This sounds very suspicious...so who is the player...and where do we get the stake and oil :6

Well I don't want to call the player out yet, I just want an admin maybe to take a closer look at that person. I'll keep it anonymous for now as I think some of the admin know who it is.
