Assault Weapon of Choice.

Since I unlocked all the assault weapons (By far the coolest weapons in game, everyone knows this) I was curious what other people thought about the options available.

If you vote, feel free to discuss the merits and disadvantages of the different rifles.

My vote goes to the AN-94 as the ultimate pwnhammer of destruction. Throw a red dot scope on it and get ready to pwn face.

AN 94. does the most damage and have a lovely burst

In this game its all about the small bursts. Because of that anything with higher damage, and slow rate should be better.

Hmm, just unlocked the 94 last night, have not used it much and I do like the burst....but so far (depending on the map) the xm8 with red dot or the 4x power, bursting at distance and unloading up close.

I honestly prefer the M416 overall, even when stacked against the burst fire guns. If I use the red dot, I add the AR fore grip Specialization. If I'm using ACOG, I use the magnum rounds so I get more damage at range.

The burst fire weapons are good but I just refer to have a automatic weapon in case I get in close range. Besides, burst fire weapons make it WAY too easy. :P

AN-94. Ever since call of duty 4 and my strange love for the M14 I have always tapped the fire button. So the AN-94 is the next best thing. (given the M14 sucks in this game)
Magnum rounds for small maps and accuracy buff for large maps.
