Dont give up

servers stay full.
I have heard some of you say, " I refuse to play on ttp" when it comes to your connection issues. I dont know your whole login process but at least try and play at TTP before you steer your group to some random server.
If the lag was really that bad why are the servers full? When you read the recent posts on lag it seems to be getting better or at least highly playable.
Bottom line is dont go running off as soon as you log on. Get in TTP make it work then take it from there.

Re: Dont give up
I would think most people do, it just we all spent 50 bucks on this game, and people don't want to play on a laggy server

Re: Dont give up
I think some players do not know the difference between playable and being unreasonable.
For some reason though its the people who are way out of state that are having the most issues.

Re: Dont give up
I was playing on TTP this morning and my brother was home so I called him over so he could try out the game. First thing he says "Wow it's laggy."
That said, I spend almost all my time on the TTP servers unless my friends are all somewhere else.

Re: Dont give up
Jason,
Sorry but I strongly disagree with you. Many of us still always try TTP first. For the last 3 years I have played on nothing but TTP. And I speak for many of us in the same situation. We would love nothing better to play with all our TTP regs. But if it's unplayable, you expect us to just sit in there to keep the server full? We will never give up on TTP and we can't wait till it gets all worked out. I have not tried it since Thursday night but will go in today and give my report.
I would go easy on some you may or may not be slightly calling out for giving up. We did not buy the game to sit back and be unhappy with it. I am pleased to see after our many posts that the higher ups have taken a very hands on approach and care for the many reg's that have donated, supported, and not gave up on TTP. So the question comes back to you. Would you sit in a server that is unplayable or do you want to play the game?

Re: Dont give up
Jason, obviously people out of state have the most problems. It's called ping, which is the time it takes packets to be sent from one computer to the next, measured in milli seconds. but when you have a server that is not capable of sending those packets in a timely manner to people across the country, that is the problem.
It, honestly, it IS just ttp servers. I connect in other serrver in texas and I play the game just fine. Smooth, skip free.
The servers are still full, and thats great, but I will be unable to play on them until we get new ones, or the problem is fixed. And I know that goes for ALOT of other regs here. We try, everynight, but when playtime is limited because of work, family, etc...You do not want to spend your hard earned money on a game that you cant even enjoy because of a shitty server.

Re: Dont give up
Did not seem to make much of an effect. TTP was still unplayable for me and some others today.
Sucks when a German server gets better latency.
