Killing the server
Maybe Im off on a wrong foot here....but it seems that the name change has killed the server....
Any other thoughts on this...?
I honestly didnt like the name change...i believe it removed some of our identity...
Am I bitching...no. Just expressing the thoughts..
I will say that this new board.....has convinced me not to buy it.
I was going to upgrade my website with this software.....but having seen this and trying to navigate through it has convinced me not to upgrade to this particular software..
there has to be something better...
but back to the subject......We need to do something about energizing the server....any thoughts..

Re: Killing the server
FREE THOUGHT, GET HIM!!!
Did we change it back to texas? I don't know, really though we were already suffering. The simple reality is people to get in there at the same to to get it moving. TG gets theres going because they have a large local player base who jump on and get it rolling early. We've seen our server roll the big numbers but its only when people meet up and get the ball rolling. Otherwise we are lost in a sea of 0/64 servers out there.Dispatch the DooM

Re: Killing the server
It sure feels like that, even as there was a brief spark of life back in March. There's about 10 of us that are hardcore supporters, that prime it up and stick with it night after night. But we are spread over 4 different time zones or more, and we all have RL issues that need just as much care and attention as our PR server. We need more dedicated followers, and outside of spending every waking moment on the server, i don't have a clue how we are going to get those followers.

Re: Killing the server
other games are feeling similar droughts. The resident clans and admins can have the biggest impact on drawing more attention in these circumstances, though. Priming is key of course, but don't go in it alone. Ask your clanmates and friends to shoot for a time for everyone to get on. Or nights of the week, if you can't make it every night. That's what we do, anyway.

Re: Killing the server
AONO is a PR clan. I don't think they really play anything else, do they? I've tried to prime a couple times lately without much luck. The server hasn't been active lately because the usual primers have had a lot IRL issues (exams, I believe) and can't get on much during May or early June. I suspect activity will kick back up by high school graduations, especially my own.
