Don't people realize that on rush if you are offense you have tickets you can lose and on defense you don't lose tickets. People would rather sit back and snipe because they are to worried about there Fracking stats/points and won't push the objective. So there team ends up losing. I'm getting sick and tired of only a small part of the team pushing the object while the rest sit in the back with there thumbs up there buts. I have played a sniper on offense before but I know when it's time to put my fraking sniper riffle up and push the objective.
What a bunch of FRAKING DUMB ASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely stupid. Admins have been doing their best to warn folk when their sniping is at that point when it's costing the game. I try to use positive reinforcement in the short time there is to get snipers off their ass - offering strategies that utilize snipers or get them to change their class works every now and then. Otherwise, it's just a fine line between clever and ridiculous.

Re: To many FRAKING Snipers
Snipers on rush offense are hideously annoying. They hardly ever throw motion sensors, the Recon's most important capability, and usually just wind up wasting your limited tickets. Snipers can work on defense since the whole point is to kill the offense and keep them from getting to the stations, but on offense I'd much sooner see the Recons up close using any of the all-kit weapons.
Except for the SVU/VSS with a red dot. Don't know the hell why they're balanced like this, but those "sniper rifles" are better used up close and personal without a scope in any situation.

It's in every game really, they have this really cool class that everyone wants to play and only 1/3 of the people who come on here know what they're doing. If you don't know how to play then practice elsewhere, and if you do know but there's too many, play something else.

I go recon class alot but almost exclusively use the VSS with a red dot. It is great up close and personal but you need some attentive assault class soldiers dropping ammo boxes every 30 seconds because those babies have practically no ammo and I run out of motion mines very fast too.
I usually use the long range rifles if someone is camping in the hills and needs a little payback.

Re: To many FRAKING Snipers
Don't really have that problem much while on the 360. Don't know why, because it did get out of hand when I first started playing, but it's not really an issue anymore. Maybe it's just because people are actually using VOIP and communicating. Sucks for the PC crowd tho...

They are annoying. I tend to yell on them on team chat and global chat if it continues. I'll yell at them to throw their motion mines more or to actually all Mortar the same building at least on Rush in an attempt to get it to collapse. Most will collapse after some heavy mortaring, others you still need to get up close and plant a charge on.
If I play Recon and snipe, it is usually only when there are a lot of other snipers or I can get in a good position to do some damage from afar with my Mortar Strike before moving up more. I don't use the VSS a lot because as Variant said, they just don't have enough ammo really and just eat it up.
