Question on mines

If you lay some AT mines, how long do they stay?

What if you die?

Can you re-supply and lay as many as you want?

I know in 2142, you can only lay one set and they disappear after you spawn with a new kit. How about BC2?

They last thru the round or until someone blows them up. No you can't lay as many as you want same as 2142.

I can't remember but I think they still remain. It' been awhile since I played bc2.

They will linger for quite awhile, or until you've respawned twice. If you respawn with a different kit, they will fade sooner.

You can resupply and toss as many as you like, but only 4 will be on the ground at any one time, five if you use extended ammo pouch (I think thats so, it may be 3 or 4 only).

I kind of wish you could tell which mines are yours or the enemy's. Seems like the only way to tell is to test if they're spottable or not, with the only alternative being to shoot them...but then that could waste a teammate's landmine if it does turn out to be friendly.

^I don't know if this is true. I've been using mines for the last week and have found if you deploy 3 sets of mines (laid mines, died, 3x) and they dissappeared. But it should stay there till the end of the round. Maybe it has to do with the server settings.
