What to do with the Second Server maybe???????????

Since we are only filling one server now, what about putting the second server on a rotation of Squad Rush, Squad Death Match. Just a thought. Shoot you later evilblackjack

Yes, I think let's wait 1 week after this update and decide then about what to do about the 2nd server. I agree we need to change the 2nd server up with some SR and SD again, but hopefully we won't have to.

This is the best option. There is no point in changing it with an impending patch that looks very promising. If the patch doesn't help at all, I'm guessing it might be best just to remove the second server if we can't fill it.

I know a lot of people have stopped playing it though because of the VoIP issues, amongst other issues. We'll just have to see what the patch actually brings.

Yes. Nothing will be done with the second server until after we see what happens with the patch. If anything, it will likely go away rather than change formats. This patch brings us working reserved slots (supposedly) so if we follow the model of the other games we host, we typically won't host more than one server unless the first server is 100% full of reservists most of the time.

I hope that we do fill both, but if we do not don't shut the second server down. The two types (Squad Rush & Squad Death Match) do not take more then 5 people to have a good game. I think during the slow times in the day it might keep people coming back to TPG server. I am just trying to keep people coming back. Just put them in rotation like the first server. No I agree - I think some 8 on 8's would be intensely exciting on our server. And a clear alternative to the larger Conquest/Rush environment. But yeah, all to be discussed after the patch.
