2142 Autobalance on crack

If the teams are that uneven Auto-Balance will begin switching squad members and squad leaders just to even the teams up. There is nothing wrong with Auto-Balance, calm down.

I agree that teamblance should be on and is a good thing but the implemtation on EA's part is what I have problems with.

How many think that its good that squadleaders get switched when they have a full squad mid game? The balance of the game can be thrown out of wack if one of the better squad looses its leadership.

My only other annoyance (in a great game) is when I deploy a beacon I have a decent chance of CTD.

Anyway just my two cents.. I should have put a :roll: instead of a :x since its not anything i'm fired up about

i can understand the switching of teams even if you're a squadleader if you CTD. i have not personally seen a squadleader get switched mid-game without crashing first though.

2142cc is NOT supposed to switch squad leaders over lone wolf players.

You may be right. I may be confusing a CTD as squad leader with a team switch. I'll make a note of the time and date if it happens again.

if it happens, hit the "~" key and see if they disconnected.

if it says "disconnected from the server" it's not autobalance.

as well, there is an official bug for squad leaders laying spawn beacons crashing. It happens to me all the time.

I've been "switched" as squad leader only to end up on the same team.

I can only recall being balanced when i am solo play so this is just some hypothesizing on my part:

I would assume that the same team switch is caused by someone joining the server and evening teams just as it tries to balance, its a popular server and people fill slots as fast as they open during the peak hours

as for the squad members being switched could it be due to everyone on a team being in a squad so it has to balance someone in a squad? Ive never seen a server that so consistently fills multiple squads and would not be entirely surprised to find that to be the case on occasion
