Battlefield University
TTP,
I have been asked by a few players to help them get better. Why me? I don't know either, but while I've noticed that we have really good players, we could be better. In response to this, I will be opening "training workshops" to help newer players with the learning curve that is BF2.
I know, I know, save the narcissistic jokes, but this could help some people learn a few tricks they might not otherwise never learn. I propose to take a few hours a week to go over tactics and strategies for a variety of things including, but not limited to, flag capping, heli and tank operation as well as how to lead a squad. What I want to concentrate on though is how a squad should operate in game.
I will "teach" these seminars on the practice server, starting this Monday the 12th at 8pm. Depending on the interest (if there is any), I will make it a weekly thing.
This is for newer players, but if you're a veteran and think you might want to watch the train wreck, then by all means join in.
If you're new to BF2 or how TTP does things, and think you might want to attend, then please indicate that you will be there below. I also need for everyone to have Teamspeak. This will help me talk with larger amounts of people at one time. We have recently created a forum on TS that will hold a high number of people.
Please do not show up to put your two cents in. I understand and freely admit that I don't know everthing, but including several teachers in the same classroom is counter productive. If this thing does take off, then you will no doubt see "guest instructors" whose expertise is in areas other than mine.

Hell, I might even give out diplomas.

RE: Battlefield University
one thing i might suggest. make sure all those who wish to show up have read the sticky tactics. those are very helpful and might save a few unnecessary questions during class. i think this is a great idea. you should also make them call you sensei. cobra kai!!!!
