No-one is talking about raping on a full,or mostly populated server....it's priming that sucks when people are running others off of the server. It's a pisser for the guys who spend the time to get a game going,only to have it stopped because 1 or 2 people can't control themselves.

priming map should be karkand. that stops the baseraping.

Oman is typically the priming map because it draws players to the server. I believe we have had Karkand before, but could be mistaken. What concerns me about Karkand is the potential to cap out the mec side. In Oman, yes you can be pushed back to the uncap, but can't be capped out - so there is a small glimmer of hope. What looks like became the issue in this thread was not so much of base raping, the issue comes to one team was overpowered and pushed back to their uncap and the ensuing attack took place in the uncap. If these two side faced it other on Karkand or Mashtuur, the result probably would have been a cap out - then we would have had a team stacking thread - Civil, said that one for you

for all practical purposes it's impossible to cap a team out when priming on karkand, there are no helos, no jets, and not enough people... and even if you get capped out on karkand, who cares? we're talking priming, so you're just shooting around until you get enough people, so the point is to have fair fun until then.

i think you and maybe some others are confused with the real issue: the incessant jet pounding and helo raping of a team that's cornered into a flag that can't be capped out is the problem, not the ability to be capped out (which at that point would be a welcomed mercy to restart the round).

I just did some research with gametracker right now 1:40pm Eastern time. I wish I can get the proof as in print screen for what I seen but there would be too much.

This is my suggestion only (since alot of players are complaining about the prime map... Gulf of Oman)

I just searched for the maps on gametracker and here's what I seen based on 8 + people in the servers (which is the number for a round to start):

Strike at Karkand: 41 servers that has people playing in.

Gulf of Oman: 22 servers that has people playing in.

I would suggest to the admins to just try it out for a month and see how it goes. I am confident that the "bitching and whining" would be less than what we have had in this forum.

I'm not just saying this for the spite of it. I'm giving out an experience I had with my ex clan and server we had/have for DoD. We arranged to add the appropriate maps to keep the server active and including custom maps as well.

Our server was rated top 5 for a long time in the past. Why I say in the past is because since then there's been alot of newer games and of course people decided to play other games.
