Rico does it all the time......He is usually one of the first to switch and help out the other side.....and the same can be said of JP and Guessticals as well.

It happens.....teams become imbalanced because of people leaving and joining, and not because some people want to "roll" the other side. Usually, adjustments are made quickly, and we are back to good, close games again.

+1 It actually gets boring rolling a team time after time.

Since I had just joined, I was unaware of any previous imbalance. Was there?

The ranks aren't really the issue but it is a concern. Though true, some have multiple low-rank accounts, myself included, unless someone bought their stars off eBay, it is a fair indication of skill/experience level. The fact that the PLA team was getting rolled and the US had 90% officers, over half Col or higher, bore that out.

BUT ... what I really wanted to point out was the lack of good pilots on the PLA side.

I spawned in at the Refinery to find it under ground-rape by multiple helos and bombing runs. A quick team check and query over chat (=PHX= h7g615 can atest) confirmed - no good pilots on the PLA side. How does that happen? Randomly? All the pilots switched sides to correct an imbalance? I don't think so.

Plz, my concern is the enjoyability of the gameplay at TPG and I don't want to happen here what happened at the other, now defunct, server I used to play on a lot before making TPG my home - all the good pilots would switch to one side so they wouldn't have to fly against each other. We ground-pounders didn't appreciate it then and we don't appreciate it now. Instead of whining about it, we'll simply disconnect and go play elsewhere. My concerned was upheld as the server emptied out soon after. From a pop of 52 to 0 within an hour. And I'm not talking 2am either.

Just be glad you weren't USMC on Stay aWake Island or Clean Sleep with that kind of air rape. What the pilots won't tell you is that it's fun as hell laying down cannon fire and bombs from the sky without being contested. You can do it for hours and not get bored as long as you have targets.

I noticed the exact same thing sgt. TMH noticed.. the few rounds I was able to play before the server died( and its dying earlier and earlier every night) was seriously out of balance. my team was getting tore up.. the rounds were ending with over 100 tickets left on the other side and one game it was close to 200 tickets.. A few people did switch over and help out(thanks JP carey) but we were greatly out classed on multiple maps then the server died.

its not the team stacking thats really that big of a deal its the fact that it seems to kill the server faster when one team is much more dominant than the other side.. its cool I killed rico like 6 times.

H7 is an air-whore...he could have helped and killing rico these days is no big deal...he's a shell of his former BF2 self. ;-)

Sir! Firstly, I'm not an air-whore (I suck at flying). Secondly, I could not even get off the ground we were being base-raped and I didn't want them to have the jets. So I was killing the jets as they were getting in them. Rico squad can be hard to kill if your team is not that well trained. The problem with our team that round was we were moving to one flag only, at a time. No one wanted to branch out, when moving in an linear formation to cap a flag ,that is bad my friend. You never want to move in a linear formation. The point is sometimes you can have great rounds and other times you are going to get your a** handed down to you for several rounds. I believe the true team players just pick them selfs up and there teammates and fight the battle. If they lose they know they fought a good battle. If they win they just won against a hard a** team. We need to stop the crying and just fight the good battle. Sir!

PS: h7g6f5 does not = air-whore... h7g6f5= noob!

Though in response to this thread.. yeah it sucs sometimes when you have alot of good pilots on one side and none on the other. it happens, the best you can do is jsut fight it out till the next map. Dont give up just try to be sneakier. Not every map is gonna be a air map. I get frustrated too when i keep getting bombed by airplanes or helios but i just respawn and try a different approach. And hell if the helicopter is busy chasing me that means he is off someone else back, and i am at least helping alittle bit by playing hide and go seek with it.
