Nice find Ira. Has Source done any "larger scale" FPS games? I am only familiar with CSS and TF2 which are typically 10-28 players. However, many of the TF2 maps are big enough that they would support more players if there were multiple simultaneous objectives. Do want!!!

The game is being designed to be 16 v. 16 - so 32 man maps. That seems to be the upper sweet spot for the Source engine.

Hopefully they don't kill it like they did with Battlefield Heroes by jacking up the VP costs on weapons. I really don't want to pay $15 for a gun just so I can stand a chance against some asshole kid with his mommy's credit card.

My guess though, is it will be like Battlefield Heroes, where it runs on servers that EA/DICE host, so it won't be something TPG will be able to "host".

Made by the same guys who did Frontlines: Fuel of War (Founded by DICE vets FIRED by EA after the BF2 release.) Hopefully they learned something from FFOW.
