Today one of the EA chairmans announced a new Battlefield game named Battlefield free4play
It is a mix between a BF2 and ranking system of a BFBC2 first teaser also have been released , it is going to be a free game with 64 players

It is a great tactics to keep us warm until BF3 submmerge

You can register for the closed beta at battlefield.play4free.com. That site says 32 player.

The video looks a lot like the current city maps, mainly Karkand and Jalalalalalalalalalabad, in BF2. Hopefully this isn't some cheap port over. Yes, I know there were jets and choppers, so don't even say it.

No worries on the players, I am sure knowing EA/DICE it will be down to 10v10 by release date.

Anyway there is a lot of content that u actualy have to purchase so they are hopeing to make a money on that....Battlefield Heroes anyone?

wooooo another failure by EA/DICE... let's see how long it takes for them to fuck this game up. It's funny how they have all the time to come up with shitty games like this, but yet turn a blind eye to all the problems with BC2. Great job EA/DICE, way to keep those priorities.

Am I the only one who looked at that and was utterly unimpressed? Not just unimpressed but a little disgusted?

Maybe it's just the kind of crappy teaser trailer, but it looked basically like a slightly up skinned carbon copy of BF2... for free.... with game breaking microtransactions....
