Since we only have one server this time around, I'm wondering what game aspects people care about.

3D spotting
Minimap
HC Damage

Yes or No, are they important to you? Yes you want them - No you don't.

Also, let's make sure the people voting are actual regular BC2 players. I can't believe we have a vote up already, it's been what, three days?

This poll is not official. Any results here will be taken into consideration, but not guaranteed to change anything. This is the type of thing ADMINS vote on.

We need to make this as real as possible that's why people play.

Kill Cam - NO: How can you defend a point or MCOM properly if your position is given away.
Friendly Fire - YES: Of course
Crosshair - NO: There are no majic crosshairs when you walk around in real life so why in game?
3D Spotting - NO: where is the fun if someone else spots the enemy half way acrooss the map, all you have to do is sit there and track them for an easy kill.
Mini Map - NO: where is the fun or the challenge if you already know where the enemy is at.
HC Damage - YES: Bullets and explosions kill bottom line.

This is a combat oriented game and we should treat it as such. If you allow mini map, 3D spotting or kill cam whats the use. We might as well call EA and have them change the uniform colors to a brighter color instead of camoflauge. It's already bad enough that the RU medic runs around with a red berret.

No, that's why you play, Not everyone cares about games being ultra realistic. For me much of it gets annoying. Yes a soldier wouldn't have a HUD to tell him how much ammo he has, but he could also look down at his vest and see the clips he has.

I have never played Hard core regularly, Since there wasn't a vote before (at least publicly, I don't know where a private one would have been held for that matter) we can have one now.

I'm with you on this. Although I could go either way with the kill cam.

I really hope the minimap, 3D spotting, and normal damage return. The extra damage in hardcore is terrible.

BC2 isn't meant to be a realistic game, that's what ArmA and PR are for. Realistic doesn't always equal fun.
