    why conquest twice?

    so ya switch sides, rarely even matters. just boring having to play the same map twice, one on each side.
    am i alone on this?

    Well, it is only fair to the other side to play on that side. So that said you can always take a small break if it really bothers you that bad. I feel every map has its advantage on each side. see you in game eivlblackjack

    I can see both sides of the issue. Rush mode is obvious. The weapons don't change like they do in 2142 when you switch sides but the vehicles do. The point of view does change but the goal is the same, hold at least two points and the fight occurs at Bravo.

    Overall, I think I would like the one session per conquest map but not really a big deal either way.

    I am FOR one round of Conq.
    I'm also FOR one round of Rush. If we played attackers Rush, round ends, map mode goes to conq for one round, then you are then Defenders Rush on that coming turn. I've seen this work on TG. One round per mode, per map. I fully understand there are disadvantages one side from another depending on mode/etc., but it's not like we're hosting a tourney. Besides, I enjoy getting through all the maps and modes quicker.

    Actually, if you run one round of each, you NEVER change teams. You're always attacking or always defending on Rush and you're always either the Russians or Americans on Conquest.

    I prefer one round of conquest and two rounds of rush. I don't see much of a weapons advantage either way. Maps also seem balanced enough that I don't notice a difference of starting side on conquest. Just my opinion. Not going to make me play more or less on the server. I love being able to communicate with my team! THAT is what brings me back no matter what maps/modes we play.

    I have to agree 100% with dom and variant. The maps seem balanced where there is no need to play each side on conquest.

    I am for playing 2 maps of Rush for sure. Side switches are needed in order to play both sides of the map, and the maps themselves are definitely balanced toward one side or the other. Besides, I like showing the other side how to defend/attack once they have done their thing.

    Conquest, on the other hand, could swing either way for me. On smaller conquest maps, 2 rounds of it are perfectly fine. The pace is quick, and so it might be worthwhile to play it twice. Its when you are playing Harvest Day or something big like that where it gets annoying playing it AGAIN. Kills aren't happening as quickly as on the smaller maps, so the game is stuck on this one map for a huge amount of time, and once a win happens, we play it again. This doesn't really make sense to me.

    Rush fucking sucks, so any more time to play Conquest is a + for me.

    Im a fan of conquest so I would prefer 1 round on each side.
